From Diversity to Success in Financial Services

29 October 2020

5/F, 95 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong

In this hybrid event, we will talk about gender equality in the financial services industry from both European and Hong Kong perspectives

Hong Kong has made some progress towards gender equality, but challenges remain across sectors, including the financial services industry. The gender pay gap, glass ceiling and unconscious bias still remain.

– How gender diversity in the workforce of financial services (FS) sector can bring positive impact to the performance?

– How does a FS firm address the issues of unconscious biases and gender pay gap?

– What pre-career stage initiatives or actions will help the next generation contribute to creating more diversity in the industry?

We will also explore how European businesses are taking actions to close the gender gap and what can we learn from them.
