Partnerships & Content Marketing Associate

for Irish, Norwegian and European Chambers

1. General Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate, execute and implement marketing strategies, including generation of marketing campaigns to be delivered via webpages, social media, EDMs, etc.; as well as producing promotional content for a wide range of projects in alignment with Irish, Norway and European Chamber’s team and under supervision of the EuroCham’s General Manager  

  • Monitor and improve Irish, Norwegian and European Chambers’ online channels; by producing content and ensuring featured information is up-to-date 

  • Provide administrative support to the three Chambers by handling a variety of office tasks to ensure that all interactions between the Chambers and others are positive and productive 

 

2. Main duties 

  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities that include print and online content in line with Chambers’ initiatives  

  • Create branded advertising campaigns, and support the team by designing and coordinating content 

  • Monitor promotional efforts on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram 

  • Utilise Wix and GlueUp to maintain and improve online channels  

  • Conduct market research to identify new marketing opportunities 

  • Lead day-to-day administration of events and programs including coordination efforts with speakers and VIP guests, alignment with event vendors, facilitating attendees, tracking RSVPs, answering questions and resolving issues 

  • Assist the team with the management of meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows 

  • Collaborate with other Chambers of Commerce by attending InterCham meetings and identifying opportunities to co-organize relevant events 

  • Lead administrative tasks such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up meetings, and providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts 

  • Connect with members to identify collaboration opportunities and attending to requests and inquiries  

  • Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team 

 

3. Required Skills 

  • English proficiency required 

  • Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is a plus  

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or other related fields 

  • 1-2 years of working experience in the marketing field 

  • Possess basic office management and organization skills 

  • Experience working with Wix and/or other website platforms and CRM software 

  • Experience creating graphics with Canva and/or other software

Project Coordinator Trainee

3-6 months

EuroCham is looking for a Project Coordinator Trainee for a period of 3 to 6 months. Please note that this role is voluntary.​

The Trainee will assist EuroCham's Business Councils with their lobby & advocacy activities as well as support EuroCham’s Manger with the overall operations. The Trainee should ideally be a student of international relations, management, economics studies, or any related fields. 

 

The Projects Coordinator Trainee’s responsibilities will include

  • Participating in the meetings of the councils and assisting the members in the research and analysis of European-related business, trade and investment issues in Hong Kong based on particular councils’ industry sector 

  • Conducting interviews with stakeholders, summarising information, and writing reports 

  • Managing and assisting in various events organised by the councils 

Providing clerical and administrative support to the team       ​

 About EuroCham’s Business Councils  

The aim of the Business Councils is to discuss common challenges member companies are facing, provide a platform for dialogue with Hong Kong authorities, and publish position papers to put forward recommendations to the Hong Kong Government. The councils consist of members from various leading companies in their respective fields.     

EuroCham currently manages seven Business Councils and one Working Group representing specific industries:     

  1. European Sourcing and Trading Business Council (ESTBC)    

  2. European Automotive Council (EAC)     

  3. EuroCham Council for Sustainable Development (ECBD)   

  4. Intellectual Property Rights Business Council (IPRBC)    

  5. Wine and Spirits Business Council (WSBC)     

  6. European Turism and Travel Business Council (ETTBC)

  7. Sustainable Finance working Group (SFWG)
