Operations Manager

EuroCham Hong Kong is looking for a highly organized and proactive professional to oversee our daily office operations and provide critical executive support to our leadership. This multifaceted role is at the heart of our Chamber, blending HR, finance, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations and facilities management Provide executive support to the Chairperson and leadership team Manage HR processes including payroll, MPF, and recruitment Prepare budgets and handle financial administration Plan and deliver events, marketing campaigns, and member engagement activities Support the business councils Liaise with government bodies, and external partners

Requirements

Visa suitable to work in Hong Kong (Permanent Resident, Dependent Visa…) Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field Strong organisational and communication skills Experience in office management, HR, and event planning Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools Experience in membership-based organisations (preferred) Familiarity with Hong Kong business environment (preferred)

Coordination
Trainee – Research focus

3 to 6 months | Hybrid (Central & Remote)

EuroCham is seeking a proactive Project Coordination Trainee to support our Business Councils and office in coordinating research and project activities. This voluntary trainee position is ideal for individuals passionate about project management, business and policy research, and stakeholder engagement. The role is for a duration of 3 to 6 months and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international business environment. For this position, studies in business administration, international relations, political science, or economics are particularly relevant. However, we encourage applications from candidates who are motivated by the role and confident in their ability to contribute.

Responsibilities

Project and Research Assistance – Support the EuroCham Business Councils and office with research initiatives, ensuring smooth execution of project plans. Proposal Coordination – Assist in coordinating Chamber initiatives, ensuring alignment between project goals and research objectives. Project Communication – Liaise with Business Council Chairs and members to align project activities and report progress effectively. Stakeholder Engagement – Conduct interviews with stakeholders, summarize findings, and compile comprehensive reports as required.

Requirements

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to conduct research, analyse findings, and present insights clearly Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and summarising information concisely Strong time management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team This position follows a hybrid model, combining work at our Central office and remote work. Duties and requirements may be adjusted depending on project needs.
