HK's Got ESG Talent: Closing Ceremony

February 13th, we celebrated the closing of the first edition of our "Hong Kong's Got ESG Talents Mentoring Program”, bringing together the participating mentors and mentees, among others.

The event was opened by the Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Working Group of EuroCham, Yasmine Djeddai, who gave an introduction of the Sustainable Finance Working Group and an overview of mentoring program’s outcomes, on top of introducing the next edition.

We also heard from Anastasios Zavitsanakis, Head of Sustainable Finance, Greater China at UBS as well as member of The Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group who share the work of the group since its creation.

During the sharing session that followed, we understood how the program has helped the mentees to learn more about themselves and the industry, and how the mentors have also gained insights into what new talents expect from the sector.

We also received feedback from the participants, which encourages us to build a better program in 2023 to assist the young talents to acquire new skills and grow in the sustainable finance field.
