Singapore has announced it will reduce mandatory quarantine requirements for people arriving from Hong Kong by a week.
It said that from Friday, people who have stayed in Hong Kong for at least 14 consecutive days can instead do seven days of home quarantine.
“As the situation in Hong Kong has improved, we will reduce the SHN [Stay Home Notice] period from 14 days to 7 days which can be served at the place of residence if suitable,” a statement from the Singapore government said.
