EUBIP Position Papers 2016

The Business Councils of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (EuroCham) have produced the EuroCham Position Papers for 2016. The Position Papers address the regulatory and business environment in Hong Kong, and provide recommendations to Hong Kong and the European Union based hereon.

With these Position Papers, EuroCham wants to facilitate an open and constructive dialogue to make Hong Kong business environment more competitive, encourage more European businesses to set up and expand their operations in Hong Kong, and to enhance Hong Kong as a vital business hub in Asia and the main business gateway to Mainland China.

EuroCham’s Business Councils bring together professionals from the 1600 European companies operating in Hong Kong. When preparing the Position Papers, the Councils also consulted experts and professionals in the respective fields, as well as the EU office in Hong Kong.

The Position Papers are produced as part of the European Union Business Information Programme (EUBIP) contracted with the European Union.  The opinions expressed in the Position Papers are these of the respective Councils and do not represent the official positions of the European Union or its associated entities.
