The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce were delighted to co-organise a joint Business Luncheon on “Practical aspects for a successful business when using CEPA” on 7th November 2012, with Andrew Tsui, Chairman of Korn/Ferry International’s Hong Kong and Southern China offices.
The business luncheon brought together members from both Chambers of Commerce that included diplomats, top level executives and business owners of the Hong Kong business community.
The business luncheon was inaugurated with welcoming remarks by Raymond Leung, Chairman of the External Affairs Committee, who introduced the guest speaker and thanked the participants for attending the event.

He concluded with his presentation by saying that overall CEPA brings positive results when entering into the Chinese market but needs careful studying of the CEPA text and its supplements.
The end of the intriguing and informative presentation led to a question and answer session between the audience and the guest speaker.
The event was concluded with closing remarks by Paul Brough, Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce, who warmly thanked Andrew Tsui for sharing his views with the Hong Kong Community. Paul Brough also wholeheartedly thanked the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce for hosting the event at their venue, and called for greater co-operations between members of the two Chambers of Commerce.
