Personal Data Privacy Statement It is the policy of the European Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong (the "ECC") to request the following details from applicants for membership to the ECC (the "Applicant(s)") and current members of the ECC (the "Member(s)"): -
It is not compulsory for Applicants or Members to provide the ECC with the Personal Data or its business registration certificate (as the case may be). However, if an Applicant or Member does not give the Personal Data or business registration certificate (as the case may be) to the ECC, the ECC reserves the right to refuse membership to the Applicant or to withdraw membership for the Member. The Applicants or Members may provide the Personal Data or its business registration certificate (as the case may be) to the ECC by completing the application form of the ECC, and thereafter furnishing such application form, duly signed and, if applicable, affixed with the company chop, to the ECC. The ECC reserves the right to request the Applicant or Member to verify his Personal Data or its business registration certificate (as the case may be) by the presentation of appropriate evidence of the Personal Data or its business registration certificate (as the case may be) in person to the Secretary, for the time being, of the ECC.
