On the first day of 2012 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF), the European pavilion was visited by H.E. Dr. Chui Sai On, Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region and Mr. Lau Si Io, Secretary for Transport and Public Works of Macao SAR. According to the Macao officials, in order to distinguish from the previous exhibitions, the 2012 MIECF focuses on some of the main drivers towards a low carbon urban future such as green buildings, e-mobility, re-usable energy finance and investment, as well as risk management.
